I loved the unique character of the guesthouse, highlighted by the interesting local art displayed throughout the property.
The lack of a kettle in the room made it inconvenient for late-night tea or coffee, especially since the coffee machine was not functioning properly.

missingWrote a review on 11 Novplenty plugsinteresting décorroom cleanliness
Plenty of plugs available for devices. breakfast options included some standout poached plums and pears. The interesting décor with unique pictures gave the place a proper touch.
Room cleanliness left much to be desired—dusty extractor fan, moldy grout, and dirty taps all contributed to a less than ideal atmosphere. The mattress could also use an upgrade for comfort, and the overall upkeep seemed a bit neglected, with oddities like a sock hanging from the ceiling raising questions.

The stay was perfect for my short visit to explore Clonakilty. The room was comfortable and very quiet, which made it easy to get a good night's sleep after a long drive. I particularly enjoyed the lovely breakfast served each morning, with a selection of tasty options. It was great to be so close to shops and restaurants, making it easy to walk around and enjoy the local culture.

I expected to be treated like royalty, but instead, my room overlooked a garden of unsightly laundry, adding an unfortunate view to my stay. Not to mention, the coffee machine was a disaster and full of dirty pods. Honestly, I woudl ve been happy with a welcome gift to ease my pain, but then again, it's not a five-star hotel, is it?

The location is fantastic, with ample free parking and a charming atmosphere filled with interesting decor. Breakfast featured delightful options like poached plums and pears, making it a highlight. However, the room's cleanliness was disappointing, with visible dust and mildew in the bathroom. Additionally, the lack of electric outlets made charging multiple devices challenging, and the noise from the nearby industrial area hampered sleep quality.
